By car

From Balen, Geel or Lommel: In the centre of Mol follow the direction Turnhout (Turnhoutsebaan, N 18). At the first traffic light turn right (towards Sluis). After 1 km you will see the church of Sluis and the Jakob Smits Museum on your left. Next to the museum, there is a spacious parking lot, also accessible to buses.

From Turnhout or Retie: Take the N 18 in the direction of Mol. Drive past Dessel and cross the bridge over the canal. At the next traffic light turn left (towards Sluis). After 1 km you will see the church of Sluis and the Jakob Smits Museum on your left. Next to the museum, there is a spacious parking lot, also accessible to buses.

By public transport

The museum is accessible by bus. Every hour the Centrum Express (line 1) takes you from Mol station to the hamlet of Sluis (bus stop Boerestraat) and vice versa.

Sports enthusiasts can also walk to the museum, which is about 3.5 kilometres (about 2 miles) from the train station of Mol. You can check the different routes via Google Maps .

On weekdays bicycles can be rented in the train station of Mol. By bike you can reach the museum in fifteen minutes. Please find more information about renting bikes here: www.fietspunten.be/mol
